Paul Thorn (solo) w/ Ronny Elliott and Rebekah Pulley
WMNF's birthday weekend starts with a special evening with three of our best musical friends.
Paul Thorn is great with his band but his solo concerts are just as special in a different way - more intimate, personal and funny. So before you see him with his band at the Birthday Bash you will have a chance to see him solo to warm up for the big party Saturday night.

Del Castillo plus Point 6
Austin's six-man band Del Castillo delivers a sizzling, intoxicatingly rhythmic combination of flamenco, Latin rock, blues and some R&B, with thrilling, passionate showmanship from lead singer Alex Ruiz.
Spanish guitarists Mark and Rick del Castillo spin fiery flamenco jams that have them furiously strumming their instruments, never losing energy. Ruiz is a compelling frontman whose powerful voice carries through each tune, no matter whether he is singing in Spanish or English. He's also a stylish dancer with flamenco hand gestures and dancing accented by a knee-length scarf billowing as he spins.
Don't miss the smoldering hybrid of flamenco, Latin rock, blues and R&B that is Del Castillo.
